Violence is never the answer. The Flowing Wells Unified school district in Tucson, Arizona is asking parents to pledge never to use violence to solve a problem. Parents who sign the agreement promise to teach their high school children how to solve problems in an appropriate manner, they also promise to keep any weapons locked up. (The Daily Caller)

Dancing for health. Michelle Obama will appear on a new hip-hop album called “Songs for Healthier America.” The album, which will be released on September 30th, will feature songs that encourage students to get active and stay healthy. (Joanne Jacobs)

Finding space. When Capital University in Columbus, Ohio realized they did not have enough room to house all of their students, they needed a solution fast. Now, 30 students will be residing in a nearby waterpark resort until space frees up. The living costs are included in their tuition and the students will get free access to the park. (NPR)
